JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result Date: Result will come on this day, NTA issued notice

The result of JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be released by 16 February 2026. NTA has confirmed the result date in the official notice. Know the complete information about final answer key, method of downloading scorecard and direct link.

The wait for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 is now about to end. National Testing Agency (NTA) has made it clear that the result will be declared by 16 February 2026. It has been told in the official notice that students will be able to check their scorecard on NTA website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The final answer key will also be uploaded before the release of the result. Earlier it was expected that the result will be declared on 12th February but now the result date has been confirmed by issuing a notice from NTA.

In the released update, NTA has written that the result of JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 will be declared by 16th February 2026. The agency has appealed to the students not to trust any rumor and get information only from the official website. Along with the result, the direct link to download the scorecard will also be activated.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam 21, 22, Held on 23, 24, 28 and 29 January 2026. Paper 1: The first four days were held in two shifts, 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm. Paper 2: Held on January 29 from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Lakhs of students across the country had participated in this examination.

NTA had released the provisional answer key on 4 February 2026. Students were given a chance to lodge objections till 6 February 2026. Now after examining all the objections, the final answer key will be released and the result will be prepared on the basis of that.

After the result is released, follow these easy steps –

  • Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in website.
  • Click on the link “JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result” on the homepage.
  • Enter your application number and important details. Fill it.
  • Once submitted, your scorecard will appear on the screen.
  • Download the scorecard and take a print out for future reference.
  • Note: This scorecard will be used in the admission and counseling process.
