JEE Main 2026 Application Form: NTA is going to start the registration process for JEE Main 2026 soon. The exam will be held in two sessions, in January and April 2026. Students can fill the online form by visiting the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Jee main 2026 registration date: There is big news for millions of students making career in engineering. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to start the registration process of JEE Main 2026 soon. The application will start from October, although the confirmed date has not been announced yet. After the application link is active, the candidates will be able to fill the online form directly by visiting NTA’s official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. This time also the JEE Main Exam will be conducted in two sessions. The first session will be in January 2026 and the second session in April 2026.

Jee Main 2026 Exam Pattern

JEE (Main) is held in two papers-

Paper 1: For admission in BE and BTech. It gets admission in NITs, IIITs and other government technical institutions. The successful top candidate in this exam also gets a chance to sit in JEE Advanced for admission in IIT.

Paper 2: B ARCH and B for admission to Planning courses.

The exam will be in two shifts: The first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main 2026: Registration details according to sessions

  • Candidates can only apply for session 1 (January 2026).
  • If later they want to join session 2, April 2026, then they can login from the same application number and pay separate fees.
  • Students who would like to directly give session 2, will be able to apply during the registration of April 2026.
