On Sunday morning, 89 mm rainfall was recorded at Jaipur Airport, causing waterlogging in many areas. Due to water filling in low -lying areas, people are facing a lot of trouble in traffic. Broken roads and pits filled with water have increased the difficulties of the drivers.

These trains were affected due to rain in Jaipur

  • Heavy rains have also affected rail traffic. North Western Railway has re-scheduled and diverted several trains on the Jaipur route.
  • Superfast Express (train number 12956) from Jaipur to Mumbai Central will now leave at 6 pm instead of 2 pm.
  • Similarly, the departure time of Udaipur City to Yoganagari Rishikesh (train number 19609) has been changed from 1:45 pm to 3:30 pm.
  • Apart from this, special train (train number 04717) from Hisar to Tirupati is being operated by Jaipur-Chaanderia-Kota road.
  • Daund-Ajmer Special (train number 09626) has been diverted on the Kota-Chaanderia-Ajmer route.
  • At the same time, the train (train number 22981) from Kota to Sriganganagar will now run by Kota-Chaanderia-Jaipur-Phulera route.
  • The railway administration has advised passengers to check the status of their train before going on the journey, so that inconvenience can be avoided.

  • According to the Meteorological Department, due to monsoon activism, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Tonk, and Dausa districts for the next 24 hours. The department has warned people living in low -lying areas to be vigilant and avoid unnecessary travel.
  • Rain has been relieved, but due to waterlogging and traffic disrupted, people’s problems have increased. The administration has deployed teams to keep the essential services smooth.
