World Test Championship: A big change is going to happen in the World Test Championship. There are reports that 12 teams are going to play in the next season of the World Test Championship. The next season of WTC will start from 2027. In the World Test Championship, every two years, every team plays home and foreign series with 6 teams of its choice. After this, the player who scores the most points in the points table of the World Test Championship makes it to the finals. Now after the arrival of three new teams its rules may change. Who won the World Test Championship?
So far three teams have captured the World Test Championship. The 2019-2021 Test Championship was won by New Zealand. Australia captured the 2021-23 championship. India had reached the finals of both these Test Championships. South Africa won the final of the 2023-25 Test Championship.
