Bollywood singer Jasmine Sandlas, known for hits such as “Shararat,” “Illegal Weapon,” and “Main Aur Tu,” has embraced self-love, saying she had to become her own “dream girl” before she could become one for her fans.
Sandlas shared a video from a photoshoot on social media, in which she is seen posing in a maroon lehenga. The video features the song “In Aankhon Ki Masti” from the film ‘Umrao Jaan’ playing in the background.
“I had to become my own dream girl before I could become yours,” Sandlas wrote alongside the video.
The post drew a response from actress Sonam Bajwa, who commented, “Stop being so beautiful all the time.”
The message comes weeks after Sandlas announced her ‘The Dream Girl India Tour,’ a multi-city concert series scheduled to visit Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chandigarh during July and August.
Sandlas said the tour title is a tribute to her personal journey, tracing her path from a young lyricist to an internationally recognized performer.
