Jannik Sinner denies Carlos Alcaraz hat-trick to lift maiden Wimbledon title

New Delhi: Jannik Sinner clinched his maiden Wimbledon title, defeating Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4  at Centre Court on Sunday, July 13. The match lasted for more than three hours, as Sinner dominated the match after losing the first set against the Spaniard. Alcaraz was aiming for his third consecutive Wimbledon title, but the world No.1 denied him, avenging his loss at the French Open last month. Sinner became the first Italian to win the Wimbledon singles title.
