According to Jyotishacharya Pt Sharma, there is a law to worship Lord Krishna at night on Janmashtami, but if a devotee wants to worship during the day, there are many auspicious times for it. As-
– 7.40 am to 09 in the morning to 20 minutes
– 02 in the afternoon from 8 minutes to 03 to 45 minutes
– 03 in the afternoon from 45 to 05 to 20 minutes
– 07 pm to 8.20 pm
– From 09:45 pm to 11:05 pm
Janmashtami 2025 Night Muhurta
According to religious texts, Lord Krishna was born in the midnight, so Kanha’s birth anniversary is specially celebrated at night on Janmashtami. For this, the auspicious time will start from 11.45 pm, which will be from 12 to 08 minutes. Kanha’s birth anniversary will be celebrated mainly in Vrindavan, Mathura, Ujjain etc.
Why did Lord Vishnu take Krishna avatar?
According to religious texts, when the Kshatriyas started doing iniquity by ego on their strength, Lord Krishna was born in the Yaduvansh. Sri Krishna fought many wars during his lifetime and destroyed the unrighteous Kshatriyas, including Jarasandha etc. Even during the Mahabharata war, crores of unrighteous Kshatriyas were killed, only they were in favor of religion.
