According to religious texts, when the Kshatriyas started doing iniquity by ego on their strength, Lord Krishna was born in the Yaduvansh. Sri Krishna fought many wars during his lifetime and destroyed the unrighteous Kshatriyas, including Jarasandha etc. Even during the Mahabharata war, crores of unrighteous Kshatriyas were killed, only they were in favor of religion. In this way, Shri Krishna established religion by destroying unrighteousness in the Dwapara Yuga.
