However, the feedback nearly affected its box office performance, with the film recording an expected weekday decline in collections after the weekend.

According to trade-tracking portal Sacnilk, Jana Nayagan collected an estimated Rs 10.15 crore across all languages, a 68 per cent drop from its Sunday earnings of Rs 32.00 crore. With this, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 134.90 crore, while the India gross collection stands at Rs 157.74 crore.
Tamil remained the biggest contributor on Day 5, earning Rs 8.40 crore. The Hindi version raked in 1.20 crore, while the Telugu version added Rs 0.55 crore.

However, it has failed to hold steady on Monday, with collections dropping significantly.
