Highest participation from UP, Maharashtra at second place

According to the data, Uttar Pradesh had the highest participation in the survey on the first day. The highest number of 1,41,150 responses have been sent from UP. After this, 65,775 responses have been received from Maharashtra, 62,580 from Tamil Nadu, 43,590 from Gujarat and 29,985 from Haryana.

This survey is an opportunity for direct participation in the democratic process.

An official of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said the ‘Jan Man Survey’ of the NaMo app allows citizens to directly participate in the democratic process. In this, the public can assess the functioning of the government on many important topics like national security, governance, cultural pride, and youth development. They can express their opinion on this. Through this, not only the public can express their views but can also indicate to the government which schemes and policies are getting support from the people and where improvements are needed. This survey embodies the spirit of the common people to participate in the creation of a new India.
