FATF warned
This is the same way to which FATF warned in the July report. India’s Finance Ministry also said that terrorists are now misusing online payment apps. The Government of Pakistan claimed in 2019 under its National Action Plan that the funding lines of Jaish-e-Mohammed have been closed. Masood Azhar and his brothers Rauf Asghar and Talha Al Saif’s bank accounts were freeze, cash transactions and donations were stopped. For this reason, Pakistan was helped to come out of the Gray list of FATF in 2022. But when monitoring the network increased, Jaish-e-Mohammed immediately started using digital wallets.
