Jaipur Accident News: 13 people lost their lives in a tragic accident in Harmada area of Jaipur. The speeding dumper hit 17 vehicles. One of them was Mahendra Bunkar, who had come only to make his nieces sit in the bus.
Jaipur Dumper Accident: Such a scene was seen in Jaipur on Monday afternoon which shook everyone’s heart. The speedy dumper destroyed everything in a matter of seconds. The dumper moved ahead, hitting 17 vehicles. 13 people lost their lives in this accident, while many are seriously injured. Among those killed was a man named Mahendra, who had come to board his nieces in the bus, but could not return home.
Came to drop my nieces by bus but did not return home
38 year old Mahendra lived on Bainad Road, Jaipur. On Diwali, his elder brother’s two daughters, Varsha (19) and Bhanu (5), had come to their uncle’s house for holidays. When the holidays were over, on Monday Mahendra left to send them to Sikar. It might have taken a few minutes to reach the bus stand, but that journey became the last for them. Varsha is injured in the accident. He was admitted to the Trauma Center of SMS Hospital in critical condition. While uncle and Bhanu have died.
Chaos at speed of 100
The dumper driver drove at a speed of more than 100 km/h on Loha Mandi Road in Harmada area. First hit a bike, then started crushing the vehicles one by one. After hitting 17 vehicles, it crashed into a 200 feet highway culvert. After the accident, only body pieces and traces of blood were left on the road.
Dumper driver found drunk, people caught him on the spot
Police investigation revealed that the name of the driver is Kalyan Meena, who is a resident of Viratnagar. After the accident he was trying to run away but people caught him. The driver himself is injured and is undergoing treatment.
CCTV footage shows the havoc of speed
It is clearly visible in CCTV. The dumper was coming at such a high speed that the vehicles were seen jumping in the air. People kept running on the roadside, but the speed did not give anyone a chance. After the accident, there was an uproar in the area and people demanded an underpass.
