New Delhi: Chitrangda Singh is back from Ladakh after completing the first schedule of Battle of Galwan with Salman Khan.
Addressing the media at Khidkiyaan Theatre Festival, the actress, when asked about working with Salman, said, “It was very exciting. It was the first time I shared screen space with Salman. I know him, but to know him professionally, to be on set with him, is very different and exciting.”
On the experience of shooting in Ladakh, Chitrangda shared, “It was lovely shooting in Ladakh, but we witnessed sandstorms. It was tough for Salman doing the action scenes. And I was there sitting, looking pretty.”
Chitrangda also reacted to Homebound being chosen as India’s official entry to the Oscars. She said, “It is a proud moment for us. It is a moment of celebration for all of us. The kind of work that is coming out of India is amazing, as compared to the Western world, sort of English-speaking medium.”
She added, “Our work is just as good. Because it is being made in a language that is not universal, maybe that could be the reason that we don’t get appreciation, which I think is not nice. It is a great step forward, which is amazing.”
