The Department of Revenue and Land Reforms said that an important decision has been taken to facilitate succession and Bantwara based transfer during the Revenue Maha Abhiyan, which runs from 16 August to 20 September 2025. Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh has issued a letter to all the District Magistrates, stating that a meeting was held on August 10 with associations of panchayat representatives at the Revenue Survey Training Institute, Patna for the successful operation of the revenue campaign.

His death certificate is not available. In such a situation, it is not easy to get a certificate immediately. In such a situation, during the revenue campaign, if his successor gives a self-proclaimed letter on the white paper and proves him with the signature of the head of the panchayat or the sarpanch, he will be accepted. In addition, if the word ‘dead’ is written with the name of a member in the lineage, he will also be accepted as proof.

Instructions given to collectors of all districts
Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh said that this important decision is expected to speed up the disposal of old pending nomination and partition cases. Collectors of all districts have also been instructed to ensure necessary action to their subordinate officers as per this order.
