ISRO aims to install 103 satellites in orbit by 2040. This satellite will strengthen areas such as Earth Overview, Ocean Studies, Meteorological, Communication and Strategic Monitoring. Every year 12 to 15 new satellites will be launched, making India’s space program standing equal to superpowers like America, Russia and China.

Mission to bring back samples from the moon from Chandrayaan-4

After the success of Chandrayaan-3, the aim of the Chandrayaan-4 mission is to bring back samples of the moon and rock to the Earth. This will be followed by Chandrayaan-5 joint mission with Japan, with the heaviest rover of 350 kg will be sent. Chandrayaan-6, 7 and 8 lunar navigation will be focused on setting up satellite systems, which will increase the accuracy of future missions.

Leo Internet Planetarium: Starlink Moment of India (Starlink Moment)

India is working on a plan to create a huge Leo satellite consultation of about 140 satellites, providing satellite -based internet across the country. This project will be developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

LMLV: Next generation Indian rocket

To realize this ambitious plan, ISRO LMLV (Launch Module Launch Vehicle) is developing, which will be suitable for both Earth observation and planetary exploration. This will take India’s space technology to the new era.

Navic upgrade: India’s indigenous GPS

ISRO’s Navic (Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System) is being expanded to 35 satellites. This will make India self -sufficient by eliminating dependence on GPS in circumstances like Kargil war.

Currently India’s share in the global space economy is 1.7%, which is a target to increase to 10%. By incorporating the private sector, India is preparing to become a major player of the global space industry. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has clarified that India’s final goal is to send Indian astronauts to the moon by 2040. This mission will establish India in the world’s top space powers.
