Jerusalem, October 22, 2025 – The Knesset, the Israeli parliament, has passed a historic and controversial bill, stating that the West Bank will now officially become part of Israel. Although the bill still has to go through three more readings and voting, the decision has already caused an international stir. It is being told that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party was absent from this voting, while former US President Trump and Arab countries are angry with this decision. Meanwhile, the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas also seems to be weakening, due to which there is a possibility of conflict breaking out in Gaza and West Bank once again.
