Israeli Strikes on Doha: PM Narendra Modi spoke to the rich Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani of Qatar over the phone. He conveyed the air strike by Israel in Doha and described it as a “violation” of Qatar’s sovereignty.
Israel Attack on Doha: Israel has attacked Doha, the capital of Qatar. The Israeli army attacked when the top officer of Hamas was preparing to talk on the US support ceasefire agreement in Doha. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke to the rich Tamim bin Hamad al-Tani of Qatar. PM Modi expressed deep concern over the attack on Doha by Israel. Described it as a “violation” of Qatar’s sovereignty. Along with this, he called for talks to resolve disputes.

PM Modi posted on X, “Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Tani and expressed deep concern over the attacks in Doha. India condemns violation of Qatar’s sovereignty.” Reiterating India’s continuous stance, the Prime Minister appealed to resolve disputes through dialogue and diplomacy. Emphasized the need to prevent the dispute from growing. They said,
We support the resolution of issues and stress from increasing issues through dialogue and diplomacy. India stands strongly against peace and stability in this region and against terrorism in all forms and expressions.
5 people killed in Israeli attack
According to Hamas, at least 5 people were killed in an attack by Israel in Doha. These include three bodyguards of Hamas leaders. Suhail al-Hindi, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, said that both Khalil al-Hayya’s son Hammam Al-Hayya and his office manager Jihad were killed.

Sheikh Tamim thanked PM Modi
PM Modi expressed concern over these incidents. He appreciated Doha’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability. Specially praised the role of Qatar’s mediation, including the initiative of the ceasefire and the release of the hostages in Gaza. In response, Sheikh Tamim thanked Modi for his message of solidarity towards Qatar and the state.
