Isha Rikhi announced her separation from Badshah amid rumours that she was participating in Bigg Boss 20. The Punjabi actress has not confirmed whether she is a part of the reality show. Isha and Badshah’s marriage ended in just five months and the reason has not been disclosed. When she hinted at trouble in her marriage, her friends and industry colleagues came out in her support. Shruti Sodhi, who was close to Isha, had shared a cryptic note on Instagram. It has been noticed that Shruti and Isha are not following each other on the app.

On Instagram, shared a cryptic note. Without mentioning Isha’s name, she wrote, “Sometimes it takes a very long time to understand the real character of even someone very close to you. Shocked at how money and Imminent popularity can change a person within hours and days. Such are the times when a person’s reality comes out. They use you emotionally and mentally and then when their problems resolve, they vanish since you serve no purpose anymore. Let’s say karma is a bitch and also never belleve just because someone takes god’s name so often that they will be a good person.”
Shruti further added that she learnt a lesson from a ‘now former but a very close relationship’. The actress shared, “The world never knows the truth of a person. Always ask those who have spent years and years with the person. Shocked at how good people are at gaining sympathy, spinning stories to justify themselves and then see them use people and then one day..It happens to you.”
She ended the note, saying, “Clearly, entry to a reality show has a bigger worth than human relationships now. So twisted and materialistic.”

On August 31, Isha and issued a statement confirming their separation. It read, ” Me & Badshah have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time. This will be our only statement on the matter. We sincerely request that there be no further speculation or assumptions regarding our relationship.”
