For some time, the buzz of Kamal replacing Sethupathi was doing rounds and it was hard to ignore. After Kamal Haasan’s seven-season reign, the iconic actor stepped down last year, making way for the talented Vijay Sethupathi.
While Sethupathi brought his own unique, calm style to the chaotic house, it received mixed reactions from the audience, with many feeling he was a bit too gentle with the contestants. This, of course, sparked endless rumours about a potential host replacement, with everyone wondering if the show’s pioneer, Kamal Haasan, would make a comeback.
Well, wonder no more! The big update is finally here. Sethupathi will continue as the host who will bringing back his signature blend of sharp wit, and friendly commentary to the contestants.

As per the latest buzz, directors Praveen and Arjun will be helming this season’s proceedings. Earlier, Nelson Pradeep Kumar and Amaran director Rajkumar Periyasamy had helmed the show.

While the host drama is settled, the mystery around the housemates is just beginning.
