Stopping attacks on Iran’s energy sites for 5 days
The US President said that in view of the positive atmosphere of the talks, he has instructed his Defense Department to postpone for five days any attack on Iran’s power plants and energy infrastructure. He also clarified that this decision has been taken on the condition that the ongoing talks between the two countries remain successful.

Iran’s claim- Trump backed down after threat
There has also been a reaction from Iran on this decision of Trump. The Iranian Embassy in Afghanistan described it as America’s “retraction.” Iran had previously warned that if the US attacked its energy targets, it would target the entire region’s energy infrastructure. Posting on the social media platform X, the embassy said that after this warning from Iran, Trump decided to postpone the attack.
