Is there really a shortage of petrol and diesel in the country? BPCL told the truth

Tension has increased significantly in West Asia after the attack on Iran by America and Israel. The impact of this conflict is also being seen on the global energy supply. Concern about crude oil and natural gas has increased in the international market, especially after reports of activities being affected in the Strait of Hormuz, a major oil and gas route. However, the oil companies have termed the rumors spreading regarding the availability of petrol and diesel in India as completely false.

Increased concern over global supply

West Asia is one of the largest oil and gas producing regions in the world. From here, a large amount of crude oil and natural gas reaches different countries of the world through sea routes. Experts say that if tension in this region persists for a long time, fluctuations in the global energy market may increase. However, at present there is no problem regarding fuel supply in India.

Adequate availability of fuel in India

Government oil companies say that there are sufficient reserves of petrol and diesel in the country and the supply is going on completely normally. There was concern among people after rumors of fuel shortage spread in some places, but companies have made it clear that there is no truth in such news. According to oil companies, India’s energy supply system is strong and storage and import arrangements are already in place as per the need.

BPCL called the rumors baseless

Government oil company Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) has also issued a statement saying that the company is functioning completely normally and fuel supply continues uninterrupted across the country. The company has appealed to the people not to believe the rumors related to the shortage of petrol and diesel and not to panic and crowd at the petrol pumps.

Trust only official information

BPCL has also said that for any kind of information, trust only official sources. The company says that the availability of fuel in the country is completely normal and the common people do not need to worry about anything. Experts believe that even though tensions have increased at the international level, India’s supply system remains stable at present.
