Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, “I want to assure people that there will be no lockdown. I am surprised that some leaders are saying that there will be a lockdown and there will be fuel shortage. These are baseless things. Such talk from people sitting in the political domain is a matter of concern. There will be no lockdown like the one we saw during Covid. I want to assure people that there will be no lockdown like the one we saw during Covid.”
