air pollution
With changing weather, the level of air pollution is also increasing. Pollution affects every person. Its symptoms are also visible such as infection in the lungs, frequent cough, burning sensation in the eyes, effect on the skin, but there is also a belief that those who have good immunity do not suffer any harm from pollution nor do they show any symptoms. Some people even think that it will not matter to them no matter how much pollution increases, but is it really so? about this Dr. Himanshu Bhadani in Delhi AIIMS Has told.
Dr. Bhadani explains that even if the symptoms become less due to strong immunity, it does not mean that their effect goes away completely. Prolonged exposure to pollution can cause harm even to a person with a good immune system. Due to this, free radicals are formed in the body, which harm the body, even if symptoms are not visible immediately, but living in pollution for a long time has an effect on every person’s body.
The effect is quickly visible on these people
Dr. Himanshu says that in people whose immunity is already weak, like the elderly, diabetes or heart patients, the effects of the damage caused by pollution are quickly visible. At the same time, in those whose immunity is strong, the initial effect is less visible, symptoms may not appear immediately, but after prolonged exposure, the risk may be equal, but provided that the immunity is good and is not exposed to pollution for a long time, then serious symptoms do not occur. However, this does not mean that if you are fit now then do not protect yourself from pollution. Protection is important for everyone. For this, wear a mask while going out and take care of your diet.
