Dubai’s condition is like Delhi, know why: Residents of the UAE woke up in the morning to find a blanket of dense fog covering many parts of the country. The National Meteorological Center of the United Arab Emirates also issued red and yellow alerts. Many people shared scenes of this sudden change in weather on social media, many Indians have also shared such videos.
Indian living in Dubai shared the video in a hurry-
“Visibility is literally zero in some areas at the moment. But the morning is looking cool and nice,” read a post on the Instagram page of a couple who run a travel blog in Dubai.
In another video, a woman living in Dubai joked, “Burj Khalifa is missing.” This is the tallest building in the world. Saying the same thing, another posted, “Burj Khalifa is also sleeping.”
Many people shared pictures of fog on social media. One person posted the photo on X and wrote, “Traffic is very slow, but the view is amazing.” Another wrote, “What a dense fog there is in Dubai today. It is still there. Everyone drive safely.”
One person wrote, “The first whiff of winter… wrapped in such a dense fog that it seemed as if the world had stopped to breathe. Stay warm, drive safe, people of Dubai.” A fourth wrote, “Dubai has become Delhi today.”
NCM said dense fog was seen in areas like Sharjah’s Al Qarayan, Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport, Dubai’s Al Lisali and Al Qudra, and Abu Dhabi’s Sheh Shuaib and Al Ajban.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi Police issued alert:
“Dubai Police urges motorists to drive safely and cautiously due to low visibility due to fog in some parts of Dubai,” Dubai Police tweeted.
All drivers leaving for work in the morning should keep their headlights on. Drive at a safe distance from the vehicle. In case of any emergency, inform the police.
