These days, a video is going viral on social media, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seen announcing to give free scooty to women on the basis of Aadhar card. This video has been shared by Instagram handle rounakkumartalks. However, the government has called this claim completely fake.
Press Information Bureau (PIB)’s fact check unit #PIBFactCheck has clarified that this video has been prepared with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and the claim made in it is false. At present no such scheme is being run by the Central Government, under which free scooters are being given to women on showing Aadhar card.

PIB has appealed to the people not to believe such misleading videos and messages going viral on social media. Many times, with the help of AI technology, fake videos are created using the voices and faces of politicians, so that people can be confused.
Through an AI-generated video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared by the Instagram handle rounakkumartalks, it is being claimed that the central government will provide free scooty to women on Aadhar card.
