OnePlus appears to be gearing up for its next flagship release, the OnePlus 15, with several significant changes hinted at in recent leaks. According to a report from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming device will not only introduce a revamped camera design but will also mark a notable shift in OnePlus’ imaging strategy.

A Break From Hasselblad?
For years, OnePlus has leaned on its partnership with Hasselblad to bolster its smartphone camera credentials. That collaboration might be coming to an end.
The OnePlus 15 is rumored to debut with a self-developed imaging brand, putting it on a different route from rivals like Xiaomi and Vivo, who have exclusive relationships with Leica and Zeiss, respectively.
While the name of this in-house imaging brand is yet to be revealed, the move suggests that OnePlus is looking to take more control over its photography and video capabilities, aiming for deeper hardware-software integration and a more consistent visual identity across its camera output.
Triple 50MP Setup With New Design
Alongside the branding shift, the OnePlus 15 is expected to introduce a new rear camera layout, moving away from the circular deco used in previous models. The device may feature a triple 50MP camera system, including a standard wide sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto camera.
Display and Build: Slimmer Bezels and IP Ratings
The front of the OnePlus 15 is expected to house a 6.78-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution. It’s not the first time the brand has used a flat screen, but this time, the panel will reportedly adopt LIPO screen packaging technology. This method allows for thinner bezels and improved screen integration.

Under the Hood
Powering the phone will likely be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, expected to be among the fastest Android chipsets this year.
The OnePlus 15 may also feature a massive 7,000mAh battery, alongside 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. If these numbers hold, it would mark one of the highest battery capacities in a mainstream flagship.
Additional expected features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, continuing a trend seen in high-end Android devices.
