Sreeleela is making inroads into Tamil cinema. She has acted opposite Sivakarthikeyan in “Parasakthi” and Dhanush in “OM”, which is scheduled to hit theatres shortly. Her name was also shortlisted for the female lead in Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film, directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
Many believed that the film with Ajith would further boost Sreeleela’s standing in Tamil cinema. However, the considerable age gap between the two, with Ajith being 55 and Sreeleela 25, also drew attention.
Now, reports suggest that the makers have dropped the idea of casting Sreeleela. Instead, Kayadu Lohar is said to be the frontrunner for the female lead.
Kayadu has already gained popularity among Tamil audiences through her work in Tamil films. After appearing in Nani’s upcoming film “The Paradise”, she has reportedly signed another Tamil project. She is now said to be in consideration for Ajith’s film as well.
However, the makers are yet to officially confirm the female lead. It remains to be seen whether Kayadu Lohar will replace Sreeleela in the project.
