Is Bishnoi Gang a terrorist organization? Lawrence’s brother Anmol was brought to India

Most of the henchmen of Lawrence Bishnoi gang are being caught one by one.

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s younger brother Anmol has been extradited from America and brought to India. Criminal cases are registered against him in many states of the country. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested him as soon as he reached Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. Later, the police of Delhi, Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan will also take action in the cases registered against him. Anmol, who was involved in crime in countries like Canada and America, was once a part of the Lawrence Gang and has also been a victim of gang war in America along with Goldie Brar and Rohit Gadara Gang. Goldie Brar has also been declared a terrorist in India.

In such a situation, the question arises that is the Bishnoi Gang a terrorist organization that commits crimes in the country and abroad? When and how is a group declared a terrorist organization?

gang war on foreign soil

Most of the henchmen of Lawrence Bishnoi gang are being caught one by one. On the other hand, gangsters Goldie Brar and Rohit Godara, who have now become Bishnoi’s rivals, are becoming increasingly effective. More of their shooters are active from Dubai to Canada and America. Even for the first time, a gang war has taken place in Dubai between Bishnoi and Godara gang some time ago. There Godara gang had killed a shooter of Lawrence and Godara himself took responsibility for it by sharing the photo. After this gang war, the concern of Bishnoi gang was increasing. This is how a terrorist organization is declared in India

In India, any person or organization is declared a terrorist by the Union Home Ministry, who does anything that threatens the unity, integrity, security or sovereignty of the country. Any person or his gang who is threatening the entire society or a particular section of the society can also be declared a terrorist. For this, there is Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in the country. On the basis of the reports of security agencies, the Union Home Ministry releases the list of organizations or individuals who are declared terrorists. In UAPA, a case is registered under sections 18, 19, 20, 38 and 39. When information is received about an accused being associated with a terrorist organization, then Section 38 is imposed on him. Similarly, action is taken under Section 39 for providing help to terrorist organizations.

Goldie Brar declared terrorist in India, not Bishnoi gang

Earlier, in this law made in the year 1967, many provisions were made against terrorism, through which terrorist organizations were identified and their activities were stopped. However, at that time there was a provision in this law to declare an organization as a terrorist organization, but when this happened, that organization started operating under some other name. Also, at that time there was no provision in this law to declare any person a terrorist. In view of this, many amendments were made in this Act in the year 2019. This ensured that any person involved in terrorist activities could be declared a terrorist, so that investigation and action could be taken against him.

Lawrence Bishnoi’s associate Satvinder Singh alias Goldie Brar, who fled from India in the year 2021, has been declared a terrorist by the Government of India under this law. After separating from Bishnoi, Goldie now lives in Canada and America and commits crimes. He is the main accused in the murder of singer Sidhu Musewala. However, the name of Bishnoi gang is not yet in the list of terrorist organizations of the Government of India.
