War has broken out in Western Asia after the attacks on Iran by Israel and America. Many Gulf countries have been affected by this, due to which all the major airports have also been closed. But its biggest impact has been on the international airports of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, which have been attacked by Iranian drones and thousands of passengers are stranded. One of these veteran international cricketers directly asked the Prime Minister of his country whether he could call him back safely.

Bairstow sought help from PM
Among those trapped is England’s legendary cricketer Jonny Bairstow, who was at Dubai International Airport. He questioned the Prime Minister of his country on social media. In fact, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer posted a video of himself on ‘X’ account, in which he was giving his statement on this war. Responding to his post, Bairstow asked the Prime Minister a question – “Can you take us home?”

Indian star Sindhu also trapped
Not only Bairstow, but India’s legendary badminton player PV Sindhu also got stuck at Dubai Airport due to this fight. She was on her way to Britain for the All England Tournament when the airport was closed due to the Iranian attacks. Sindhu described the horrifying scene through her post on social media and told how there was chaos as well as fear in the airport.
