The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had claimed to have shot down America’s most modern fighter plane, the F-35, in the skies of Iran. A few hours later, it is being claimed that the pilot of this fighter jet has also been captured alive.
According to Tasnim News Agency, the American pilot has been captured by the Iranian army after being ejected from the hit plane. If there is even a little truth in these claims, then it could prove to be the biggest blow to America and Israel so far.
F-35 pilot was running away from IRGC to save his life?
According to Iran’s news agency Tasnim, this incident took place around Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmed provinces of western Iran. The report states that as soon as the IRGC’s advanced defense system targeted the American fighter jet F-35, the pilot ejected to save himself and landed on Iranian soil. After this he ran away and the American army tried to take its pilot safely out of the Iranian border but before that the Iranian army had already taken him into custody.
Iranian army or government did not make any such claim
Till now, there has been no announcement of the capture of this pilot by the Iranian army or government, but if the American pilot has indeed been captured, then it can prove to be a big defeat for Trump because now Iran will use this as leverage to get its conditions met in the peace talk.
F-35 completely destroyed: IRGC
It is being claimed that this aircraft was part of the famous ‘Lakeenheath Squadron’, which is considered one of America’s deadliest air forces. F-35 was the American aircraft which was considered ‘invincible’. IRGC has claimed that this is the second F-35 that has been hit. IRGC says that this infiltrator plane has been completely destroyed.
