A businessman from Raipur has accused DSP Kalpana Verma of cheating him of Rs 2 crore by luring her in love and taking over the hotel. The businessman has also claimed threat of being implicated in a false case. Police is investigating the complaint, but FIR has not been registered yet.
Raipur: Raipur DSP Kalpana Verma has been accused by a businessman of defrauding more than Rs 2 crore and expensive gifts and taking over his hotel. This businessman named Deepak Tandon has released photographs, videos and documents to the media to prove his allegations. Deepak has filed a police complaint against DSP Kalpana, but FIR has not been registered yet. Deepak has also shared WhatsApp chats discussing money and divorce with the media.
What are the allegations?
DSP Kalpana posted in Dantewada met Deepak in 2021. After this a relationship formed between the two. Deepak alleges that the DSP trapped him in the trap of love and kept demanding money and expensive gifts. The businessman has said in his complaint that when he refused to fulfill the demand for money, the DSP threatened to implicate him in false cases.

The WhatsApp chat between the two has gone viral on social media. In a chat, the DSP asks if Deepak is coming to Dantewada, to which the businessman replies by saying ‘I love you’ and coming soon. It is also being said that DSP Kalpana has a car in the name of Deepak’s wife Barkha Tandon. Apart from this, the picture of the diamond ring gifted by Deepak and its certificate is also going viral.
In another chat, the businessman says, ‘You are mine… no money, dear, I can’t see you in pain.’ In response to this the DSP says, ‘So why are you not helping now? I’ll give you back double, I promise. To this Deepak replies, ‘No friend, I will never take from you, I will only give to you.’ However, the authenticity of the pictures and chats going viral has not been confirmed yet. The police is investigating the matter.
