New Delhi: Shubman Gill continued his love affair with Ahmedabad as the Gujarat Titans (GT) registered a five-wicket win over the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 25 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The GT skipper led from the front to smash his 29th IPL fifty to help the 2022 champions chase down the 181-run target in 19.4 overs to record their third win of the season and first at home. Loss in Ahmedabad meant KKR remain winless in six matches and rooted to the bottom of the points table, while a win for GT took them into the top four in the points table.
Courtesy of the 86-run knock off 50 balls, Gill continued his remarkable dominance at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The India ODI and Test skipper scored his sixth T20I at the iconic venue in 27 innings as his batting average in Ahmedabad soared to 59.52. He also has four centuries to his name at this venue.
