He scored the second-highest score by an uncapped batsman in IPL history against Mumbai Indians. In the 8th match of IPL 2026, played between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground in Delhi on Saturday, Rizvi scored 90 runs in just 51 balls while chasing the target of 163 runs for the Delhi team.

So far, only one uncapped batsman, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has scored a century against MI. The left-handed batsman scored 124 runs off 62 balls for Rajasthan Royals against Mumbai at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 30, 2023. Jaiswal, who has now played for India in all three formats of the game, was an uncapped player at the time. He made his India debut against the West Indies in July 2023.

He is followed by England’s Jason Roy, who scored 91 off just 53 balls at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 14, 2018.
