New Delhi: After nearly three hours of delay due to incessant rain, the Indian Premier League 2026 match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians in Guwahati was reduced to 11 overs per side on Tuesday. The toss, which was set to take place at 7 PM, finally happened at 9.55 PM with Mumbai opting to bowl first against the Royals.
The Barsapara Cricket Stadium in the city witnessed a heavy rainfall in the evening, which remained off and on throughout. Rajasthan, meanwhile playing an unchanged side. The Royals would be wanting to maintain their flawless record in the cash-rich league after having won both their matches while Mumbai would be aiming to bag their second victory after having lost one of their two games. RR have a chance to go top of the table if they win tonight’s game.
