New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals produced a brilliant all round effort to beat Gujarat Titans by 6 runs in their Indian Premier League 2026 match on Saturday. The entire Narendra Modi stadium erupted in joy after the Royals bagged their second successive win this season with a thrilling game entertaining the fans, handing the Titans their second loss in a row.
In what turned out to be last ball thriller, the Royals kept their nerves till the end after the Titans had come very close but at the end, the 2008 IPL champions had the last laugh. Chasing a score of 211, the Titans mustered 204/8 in the stipulated 20 overs with Sai Sudharsan playing an explosive knock of 73 runs in just 44 balls.
Stand-in skipper Rashid Khan and pacer Kagiso Rabada tried their level best towards the end with quick knocks of 24 and 23 in 16 balls respectively but failed to help their side cross the finish line. Jos Buttler scored 26 runs up front with likes of Glenn Phillips and Washington Sundar failing to deliver in the chase.
For the Royals, Ravi Bishnoi starred with 4 wickets giving away 41 runs while skipper Riyan Parag, Nandre Burger and Tushar Deshpande claimed one wicket apiece.
