New Delhi: Another edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to entertain the fans in three days time. The 19th edition of the cash-rich league will begin from March 28 and all the players of varied franchises are busy preparing themselves for the battle, including defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

RCB ace Virat Kohli has been sweating it out from last few days in the practice sessions trying to leave no stones unturned. Last week, the veteran player during a pep talk with his teammates urged them all to not waste a single minute of time and utilise every moment for preparation as the franchise sets eyes on defending the title.

Meanwhile, after numerous batting sessions for number of days, Kohli tried his hand at bowling as he was spotted throwing a ball at teammate Phil Salt. RCB face Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, March 28. The video of Kohli bowling to Salt went viral on social media, atracting a lot of comments and appreciation.

Meanwhile, Kohli and Salt have formed one of the most explosive opening pairs in the Indian Premier League, with their partnership playing a pivotal role in Royal Challengers Bengaluru clinching their maiden title last season after an 18-year wait. RCB defeated Punjab Kings in a thrilling encounter to register their maiden victory at the marquee event.

RCB, in the last few days said that they will pay a heartfelt tribute to the 11 victims of stampede who lost their lives last year. The RCB players would be wearing jersey no. 11 while 11 seats would be kept empty permanently to honour the victims of the tragedy.
