IPL Points Table 2026 Updated After GT vs RCB: Gujarat Titans secured two crucial points after defeating defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 4 wickets in the IPL 2026 clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on April 30. Batting first, RCB were bowled for 155 runs in 19.2 overs.
The defending champions got off to a great start as Virat Kohli smacked five consecutive boundaries against Kagiso Rabada. But Mohammed Siraj provided GT with their first breakthrough and dismissed Jacob Bethell for five runs. Rabada made a strong comeback in his second and removed Kohli for 28 runs.
Devdutt Padikkal batted well and scored 40 runs off 24 balls, but wickets kept falling from the other end. After the top-order collapse, other RCB batters struggled with their timing. Rajat Patidar (19), Jitesh Sharma (1), Tim David (9) and Krunal Pandya (4) failed to make big contributions, while Arshad Khan removed the lower order as RCB bowled out for 155.
Arshad took three wickets, while Holder and Rashid picked up two each. In reply, Shubman Gill played attacking shots against Josh Hazlewood to set the tone. But Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivered a brilliant spell and dismissed Sai Sudharsan (6), Gill (43) and Jos Buttler (39). But 155 runs on the batting pitch was never going to trouble GT, and they chased down the target in 15.5 overs.
