New Delhi: Gujarat Titans (GT) pacer Kagiso Rabada dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal with a cracking delivery in the IPL 2026 clash against Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday, April 4. The RR opener got off to a brilliant start and was playing with aggressive intent against GT bowlers, but Rabada removed him for 55 runs.
Jaiswal forged a 70-run partnership off just 38 balls with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for the opening wicket. Both batters played attacking shots to put pressure on GT bowlers, but Rashid Khan removed Sooryavanshi for 31 after the powerplay.
After his dismissal, Jaiswal stitched another 55-run partnership with Dhruv Jurel for the second wicket. He completed his half-century in 32 balls with the help of five boundaries and three maximums. After that, he smashed Rabada for a boundary on the first ball of the 13th over, but the South African pacer made a great comeback and cleaned him up on the next delivery.

Jaiswal moved away to the leg side and exposed his stumps, giving the GT pacer full sight. He bowled a good length delivery which is aimed at the stumps, and it ended up crashing into the off-stump.

After Jaiswal’s dismissal, Prasidh dismissed RR captain Parag for 8 runs in the 14th over. Shimron Hetmyer smashed consecutive sixes in the last two deliveries of the same over. He looked in great touch, but was removed by Ashok Sharma for 18 runs in the 16th over. Rabada picked up his second wicket of the match by removing Donovan Ferreira for 1 run. Dhruv Jurel completed his fifty in 30 balls with the help of four boundaries and three maximums as RR crossed the 170-run mark.
