In such a situation, this year the league will start from its home ground Chinnaswamy Stadium. The final of the tournament is also likely to be held in this stadium. Although the schedule of the tournament has not been announced yet, it is believed that at least one playoff match and the final can be held at Chinnaswamy Stadium.
This decision has come when Chinnaswamy Stadium has got the green signal to organize the matches of IPL 2026. Last year, after RCB became champion, 11 people were killed and dozens were injured in a stampede outside the stadium. Only after this, there was a ban on organizing matches in Bengaluru. However, the new President of Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) and former Indian fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad had assured the return of IPL to the stadium and now it is going to happen. According to the information, RCB will play 5 out of its 7 home matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium, while 2 matches will be played at Raipur Stadium in Chhattisgarh.
When will the schedule be released?

The reason for this is the assembly elections to be held in states like Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Guwahati. The date of elections has not been announced yet and in view of this, BCCI will release the schedule of the first few matches only.
