Apple’s next-generation iPhone lineup is still a few months away, but leaks surrounding the upcoming Pro models continue to arrive at a steady pace. The latest one gives us what could be our clearest look yet at the colours expected for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. According to images shared by tipster Sonny Dickson and highlighted by GSMArena, Apple’s upcoming flagship phones may arrive in four colour options. While the Cupertino-based tech giant has not confirmed anything officially, the new leak lines up with several earlier reports, making the rumoured colour palette look increasingly likely.
Four Colours Tipped For iPhone 18 Pro Models
The leaked dummy units suggest that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could launch in Cherry, Light Blue, Dark Gray/Black and Silver finishes. Among them, the Cherry colour appears to be grabbing the most attention. The deep red finish is expected to become the headline colour of the new lineup, replacing the Cosmic Orange shade that debuted on the iPhone 17 Pro series last year. Apple has often introduced a signature colour with its Pro models and if recent reports are accurate, Cherry could be the standout option for 2026.
One interesting detail from the leak is the apparent absence of the Cosmic Orange colour. The finish became one of the more talked-about additions to the iPhone 17 Pro lineup and even inspired several Android smartphone makers to introduce similar shades on their flagship devices. However, current reports suggest the iPhone maker may not carry the colour forward to the next generation.
Design Changes Could Be Minimal
The leaked dummy units do not reveal any major visual redesign. Based on the images, the overall look remains quite similar to the current iPhone 17 Pro series. That said, industry reports claim the US tech giant is working on a narrower Dynamic Island. Apple is also rumoured to introduce variable aperture technology for the primary camera, potentially giving users greater control over photography and depth-of-field effects.
As of now, Apple is most likely to unveil the iPhone 18 series during its traditional September launch event, likely in the second week of the month.
