New Delhi: With Valentine’s Day around the corner, India’s large electronics retailers are once again leaning into seasonal discount campaigns to drive footfalls and online traffic. This year, Croma has announced a Valentine’s Day sale that puts smartphones, audio gear, wearables, tablets, and grooming devices at the centre of attention.
Running from February 6 to February 15, the sale is positioned around practical tech gifts rather than novelty products. Prices start as low as INR 699, and additional savings are available through bank offers and exchange deals, depending on the product, city, and stock availability.
iPhone 17 Valentines day deal
One of the most talked-about offers in the sale is on the Apple iPhone 17. Croma says the phone can be bought at an effective price of INR 47,742 under specific conditions.
The offer is built around three parts. Buyers can exchange an old smartphone for a value of up to INR 23,500, depending on its model and condition. On top of that, Croma is offering an exchange bonus of INR 8,000 and a flat bank cashback of INR 2,000. The final price depends on whether all benefits apply to a particular transaction.
Customers using the HDFC Tata Neu credit card are also eligible for up to 10 percent extra discount on select products during the sale.
Audio and smartphone discounts
Beyond Apple, Croma has lined up discounts across several smartphone and audio brands.
A Marshall Bluetooth speaker with a regular price of INR 19,999 is listed at INR 12,999. Sony headphones that usually sell for INR 14,990 are available at INR 7,499.
On the smartphone side, Croma is offering a 22 percent discount on the Redmi Note 15G and a 14 percent discount on the OnePlus Nord CE5.
Tablet buyers can also get the Apple iPad 11th generation at a 12 percent discount, bringing its effective price down to INR 30,766.
Wearables see heavy cuts
Wearables are seeing some of the steepest reductions. Smartwatches from boAt and Noise are available with discounts of up to 80 percent. The Apple Watch SE Series 3 starts at INR 25,900, with a nine month no cost EMI option of around INR 2,791 per month.
Personal care devices are another focus area. Products from Philips have discounts of up to 30 percent, the Dyson Airwrap has a 10 percent price cut, and Croma’s in-house grooming range is discounted by up to 65 percent. Havells hair straighteners and curlers are available at around 45 percent off.
Croma is also running in-store-only combo deals and freebies on select products, though these vary by location.
