New Delhi: Invincible Season 4 has concluded with its episode 8, and it was everything that the audience would have expected. However, the finale episode didn’t end without several cliffhangers, leaving viewers with questions. Well, if you still haven’t watched the finale episode, then beware, as there are spoilers ahead.
Invincible Season 4 ending explained
The episode mainly focuses on Mark and Nolan’s return to Earth. Mark is traumatised by the presence of Thragg and Viltrumites on Earth and so full of fear that he sees visions of his loved ones being killed, including Eve, Debbie, Cecil, and others. However, it is all in his head. In reality, Thragg and other Viltrumites are no where to be found on Earth.
On the other hand, Allen is appointed as the leader of the Coalition of Planets. Thaedus has also left Allen a message in case of his demise where he tells the new leader to use the perfected Scourge Virus to decimate the last of the Viltrumites, even if it means killing Mark and Nolan and all the humanity. He is pressured by the allied planets to find the solution and might present the virus to the council to restore faith in the Coalition’s abilities to protect planets. Apart from Allen, Nolan also knows about the virus.
When Mark is finally alone, Thragg decides to show himself and they make a deal. The Viltrumites have infiltrated Earth. Thragg wishes to thrive and breed on the planet but if they are hunted, detected, or disturbed, then they will kill billions on Earth. Thragg and Viltrumites have vowed not oo harm anybody on Earth and Mark accepted the deal as he is plagued by the vision of his loved ones losing their lives. However, the deal was broken too soon.
Thragg has warned Mark that any attempt to wipe them out by the Coalition or them is going to result in the deaths of millions. It will also be seen in the next season if Mark informs Allen about the location of Viltrumites as he has the virus with himself.
Nolan and Debbie get back together?
At the end of the final episode, Nolan and Debbie together head off to Talescria. Well, they might get back together by next season, just like in comics.
