Amidst the ups and downs in the stock market, a big good news has come for the investors. TVS Holdings, the flagship company of TVS Group, has decided to give excellent returns to its shareholders. The company has given a big gift to investors by declaring interim dividend for the financial year 2025-26.
The company’s board has approved a huge dividend of 1720 percent. This simply means that investors who hold shares of the company will get Rs 86 on each share. Since the face value of this share is Rs 5, this dividend is considered quite attractive for common investors. This decision will cost the company a total of about Rs 174 crore, but through this the confidence of investors seems to be getting stronger.
What is the record date?
An important date has also been fixed for receiving the dividend. The company has declared April 2, 2026 as the record date. This means that only those investors who have shares of the company in their demat account till this date will be entitled to this dividend. If an investor buys shares after this date, he will not get the benefit of this benefit. The company has also said that the dividend amount will be sent to the investors’ accounts within about 30 days after the record date.
Not just dividends, the company is also working on strengthening its financial position. In this direction, it has recently raised Rs 650 crore from the market. For this the company has issued non-convertible debentures i.e. NCDs. These debentures have been issued keeping in mind large investors and have been allotted through the platform of NSE. With this step the company will have strong funds for its future plans.
