Spanish influencer Kinay Jimenez died during an online live challenge. He had accepted the challenge of taking money from the audience and drinking 6 grams of cocaine and a bottle of whiskey. This incident highlights the risks of dangerous online trends.

Spanish influencer Kinay Alberto Bravo Jimenez tragically died from an overdose of alcohol and drugs while accepting a challenge from viewers during an online live stream. This shocking incident happened on the morning of 1 January. His life was taken by the challenge of an online group named ‘Pepe’, in which dangerous tasks are performed live by taking money from the viewers.

According to the report of People Magazine, as part of this challenge, Kinay had promised the audience that he would drink six grams of cocaine and an entire bottle of whiskey. While completing this challenge during a private streaming, he collapsed in his bedroom. Reports suggest that the young man was dead before the ambulance arrived.

His mother Teresa, who lives with Kinay, found him unconscious in the bedroom early in the morning. She told the media, “When I got up around 2 in the morning to go to the bathroom, I saw that the door of my son’s room was half open. I asked him what he was doing, but there was no answer. I tried to go inside, but the door could not open completely because there were clothes or something else lying on the floor.” The seriousness of this incident was further increased by the cruel attitude of the onlookers, who instead of helping him after seeing his deteriorating condition, instigated him by giving him money to continue the drug addiction.

Kinay has been in the news before for drug use. This incident has once again sparked debate on the plight of influencers who risk their lives for fame and money, as well as dangerous trends on social media. Officials are waiting for the postmortem report to confirm the cause of death. In the initial investigation, it is believed that death may have occurred due to heart attack or failure of internal organs due to excessive intoxication. The demand for strict action against such online challenges and related groups has now intensified.
