Bhopal/Indore. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav took a tough action on 16 September for the terrible truck accident in Indore, the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh. He announced financial assistance of Rs 4-4 lakh to the families of the deceased. At the same time, the injured will be given assistance of Rs 1-1 lakh and the government will bear the entire cost of their treatment.
DSP traffic removed, policeman suspended
In view of the seriousness of the accident, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav ordered the removal of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Arvind Tiwari. He will be attached to the Bhopal office. Also, ACP Suresh Singh, in -charge ASI Prem Singh, in -charge Subedar Chandresh Marawi and Inspector Deepak Yadav were suspended when negligence in the accident came to light.
Those who do better work will get reward
In this incident, it was announced to reward Constable Pankaj Yadav and auto driver Anil Kothari for performing well in rescue work.

The next day of the accident, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Indore. He went to the hospital and met the injured and consoled the victim families. He told the media that the accident was extremely heartbreaking and he was restless all night due to that pain.

On September 15, an uncontrollable truck suddenly climbed on a crowd and several vehicles in the Teachers Nagar area located on Airport Road, Indore. During this time, the truck also caught fire, causing chaos on the spot. Many people lost their lives and many were injured in the accident. As soon as the information was received, police, rescue teams and fire brigades immediately reached the spot and started relief work.
