Some people are afraid of losing their jobs due to flight cancellations. Meanwhile, a video from Karnataka has gone viral, in which a couple is welcoming guests at their reception online.

The wedding reception was held in Hubli, Karnataka. The guests were told that the bride and groom would reach from Bhubaneswar by the time of the reception. But, one of the suddenly canceled IndiGo flights was the one through which the new couple was supposed to come. Because of this his journey got stuck midway. Finally, the new couple welcomed guests online. The couple, who work as software engineers in Bengaluru, got married in Bhubaneswar on November 23. Their reception was scheduled for December 3 in the bride’s hometown, but it did not happen as planned because the flight got cancelled.

The couple had booked flight tickets from Bhubaneswar to Bengaluru and from there to Hubli on December 2. But the flight kept getting delayed from 9 am on Tuesday till early morning on Wednesday. This spoiled all the planning. The flight was canceled on 3 December. Many guests attending the wedding celebrations also got stuck on the way. In such a situation, the new couple came online to welcome the guests who had arrived. The duo welcomed the guests through a big screen installed near the venue.
