Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the machine for making indigenous lamps from cow dung on National Cleanliness Day in Indore. With the initiative of Collector Shivam Verma, millions of diyas will be available in the market on Deepawali, which will promote both indigenous and environment.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the National Cleanliness Day program held at Nehru Park during his stay in Indore. In the exhibition organized on the occasion, he visited the indigenous lamp making machine from the cow dung prepared under the innovation of Indore. The Chief Minister inquired about the process of making diyas and appreciated this effort to promote indigenous products.
Initiative to give new direction to indigenous campaign
Collector Shri Shivam Verma has taken special initiative in Indore to carry forward the purpose of “Swadeshi from Swadeshi” under Seva Pakhwade. Under this campaign, the project has been started to make indigenous lamps from cow dung for Deepawali and other festivals.
Machines installed in Gaushala
Two machines have been installed in the Gaushala located in Hatod area of the Municipal Corporation for the construction of lamps. More machines will be installed in the coming days, so that millions of lamps can be prepared on time. According to the intention of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, this initiative will give new pace and strength to the indigenous campaign.
Dung made of cow dung will be available in the market
These indigenous diyas made of cow dung will also be packed and sold in the market, so that more and more people can use them. This will not only be beneficial for the environment but will also promote indigenous products.
Collector monitoring and administrative cooperation
Collector Shri Shivam Verma himself is monitoring this campaign. He has also connected district level officials with this work. Also, instructions have been given to submit the progress report to the Animal Husbandry Department, Municipal Corporation and District Supply Controller.
