India’s tire industry will be 13 lakh crores by 2047
The new name is now going to shine on the Indian cricket team’s jersey. Instead of Dream 11, Apollo Tire has now become the official sponsor of Team India. This agreement has been done till 2027. The news is that Apollo tires will give around 4.5 crore rupees for every match, which is half crore more than the amount of previous sponsor dream 11. Meaning the company has won this time. The race for this sponsorship also consisted of canva and JK tires, but Apollo Tire achieved this big place by leaving both behind.
This deal of Apollo tires with Team India is also special because India’s tire industry is also growing rapidly. The list of top tire companies in the world includes four companies of India, which shows the strength of the country in this industry. Balakrishna Industries, Madras Rubber Factory, Apollo Tires and CIET have made their place. The special thing is that no Chinese company is in this list. This clearly suggests that India is coming in the big names of the world in making tires.
India’s tire business is very large and according to a report, domestic tire industry income is expected to increase by 12 times to Rs 13 lakh crore. India’s tire business was about 13.4 billion US dollars (about 1.11 lakh crore rupees) in 2024.
