New Delhi: The Indian men’s duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty crashed out in the semifinal of the China Open 2025 after losing to Malaysian pair Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik on Saturday, July 26.
They lost 13-21, 17-21 in a knockout match that lasted 42 minutes. This was Satwik-Chirag’s third semifinal appearance on the BWF Tour after they had reached in the last four at the Singapore Open and India Open. The Malaysian pair will take on Indonesia’s Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri in the final.
