According to news agency PTI, news has come out from BCCI sources that after winning, the Indian women’s team will be given the same amount of money as the men’s team got for winning the T20i World Cup 2024. This means Harmanpreet Kaur’s team will get the same amount of money as Rohit Sharma’s team raised last year. However, no official announcement has been made by the board yet.
How much money will BCCI give to the women’s team?
If BCCI is really going to give a huge amount of money to the Indian women’s team after winning the title, then this amount will be more than Rs 100 crore. When Team India won the 2024 World Cup title under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, they received a total amount of Rs 125 crore from BCCI. This amount was distributed among all the players and support staff. The names of assistant coaches and other members were also included in the list.
