Indian woman encourages people move to the US; says it will transform their lives

Mumbai: An Indian blogger staying in the US initiated a debate online relating to the salaries in abroad and in India. Sarika Yadav shared her perspective via an Instagram video. She advised financially struggling Indians to move to the west for at least a few years.

In the Instagram video titled “India vs USA: salary reality, Yadav stated that the decision of moving abroad can alter you and your family’s life. “A few days ago, I posted a video where I said that if you are not earning well in India, you should definitely move abroad for at least five to six years. Work hard, stay dedicated, earn money, and save it. By doing this, you can completely change your own life and the life of your family,” said the woman in the video.

Further, she addressed the much-talked about high cost of living. Stating that competition is everywhere, the woman also talked about pay disparity. “Someone even sent me a DM on that video saying that 25 lakh rupees in India is equal to 1 lakh dollars in America. Honestly, I don’t agree with that. Because if someone in India earns 25 lakh rupees a year and wants to buy a mid-size car, it will cost at least 15 to 18 lakh rupees. That means almost the entire annual income is spent just on the car,” said one. Concluding the post, the woman stated that the whole experience of moving abroad will change your destiny.

The video sparked a conversation online. One wrote, “Right, ur experience counts more in different country.”

Another individual agreed with the woman. “Well said. I did mistake of not realising this early in life and stick to my job. I appreciate that at least you are shaking people to think on this lines,” said one. Others were keen to know how to secure a job in the US.
